Ginger root is used in many ways.

In cooking it is used in cookies or gingerbread (mostly on Christmas season) or in special sauces.

As a decoction the root is added in several teas.

Acts as an inflammatory for the throat and helps the voice come out easier (for singers). Mreover helps in digestion and colds.

It exists in two forms, powder and root.
