Clove

Tucked in pies, tarts, cakes, syrups, and in smoked ham, in cooked dishes, such as the pork in tomato sauces, and even in soups. Adds aroma and flavor to soups. It is also used to flavor rice and tea.

It is antiseptic (helps to infection), antispasmodic (relieves gas and bloating) and stimulates mental function. Used in the treatment of acne, ulcers of the skin, herpes and eye pimple.

Combined with cinnamon, cumin, coriander and nutmeg.
